Accounting Clerk
The Accounting Clerk is responsible for providing clerical and administrative support across multiple areas within the office. This role includes assisting with accounts payable and receivable, performing data entry, maintaining organized records, and supporting general office operations. The position will also serve as backup for the reception desk as needed.

Responsibilities:
- Accounts Receivable: Process customer invoices; receive and apply customer payments; assist with collection efforts
- Accounts Payable: Process vendor invoices; assist with payment processing
- Document Management: File, scan, and maintain organized records
- Assist with special projects as assigned
- Answer phones and interact professionally with vendors, customers, and colleagues
- Provide back-up coverage for the receptionist as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifying Skills:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required
- Degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Previous experience in accounts payable and/or accounts receivable preferred
- High level of ethics, accuracy, dependability, enthusiasm, and confidentiality
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word required; proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications is a plus
- Excellent organizational skills
- Willingness to learn, grow, and follow instructions
Compensation Rage:
- $19 – $20 per hour
Location: Fairmont, MN
Reports To: Accounting Manager
