History & Experience

Founded in Belfast, Northern Ireland, in 1952, Devenish Nutrition began by serving the local agricultural sector with products tailored for the Irish market. Over the years, we have evolved from a trading business into a global manufacturer, with over 90% of our sales stemming from products made in-house. In 1997, our current management team rebranded Devenish Feeds as Devenish Nutrition, sparking a strategy focused on expansion across species and global markets.

Our growth has been driven by significant investments in advanced machinery, research, and human resources. Today, we proudly manufacture over 1,500 metric tonnes weekly across three production sites, delivering to more than 40 countries and over 20 U.S. states. With facilities in Maquoketa, Iowa, and Fairmont, Minnesota, our U.S. operations mirror the capabilities of our home facilities, ensuring consistent quality across all regions.
