Dr. Aimee Hafla Joins the Devenish Ruminant Team

Devenish is excited to announce the addition of Dr. Aimee Hafla to the Devenish Ruminant Team in the role of Ruminant Nutritionist, supporting both the beef and dairy businesses.

After earning dual B.S. degrees in Animal and Range Science and Biotechnology, as well as a M.S. in Animal and Range Science from Montana State University, Dr. Hafla earned her Ph.D. from Texas A&M University, focusing on the biological mechanisms of feed efficiency in beef cattle.

Dr. Hafla has served in a variety of technical and leadership roles across industry and government bringing an extensive background in ruminant nutrition and management, feed additive development, and sustainable nutrition strategies that will complement the Devenish ruminant team as we continue to expertly support our customers.

Raised on a commercial cow-calf and cereal grain operation in eastern Montana, Aimee’s early passion for the beef industry was nurtured through 4-H, FFA, and hands-on experiences. She lives in Altoona IA, with her husband Charlie, and enjoys cooking, mixology, bike-packing, weight lifting, and spending time outdoors.
