Devenish Nutrition Welcomes Dr. Morouj Al-Ajeeli as Poultry Technical Sales Manager

Born and raised in Baghdad, Iraq, Dr. Al-Ajeeli received a BS in Biology from Baghdad University, an MS in Food Science in 2013, and a PhD in Poultry Nutrition from Texas A&M University in 2017, continuing as a post-doc at Texas A&M University after graduation.

During her graduate study, Dr. Al-Ajeeli served as TA in Poultry Nutrition and Diet Formulation courses. In 2018, she joined Texas A&M University-RELLIS, and University of Houston as teaching faculty and taught biology, human nutrition, animal science, and food science.  Dr. Al-Ajeeli then switched from academia to the poultry industry and worked over six years as a Technical Sales Manager/Nutritionist at Asahi Biosciences, Inc. where she covered North America and Middle East customers and was responsible for providing product technical sales support and leading research and field trials in the United States as well as the Middle East.

With accolades including the Alltech Manuscript Award in 2018, Southern Poultry Science Society/International Poultry Scientific Forum (IPSF) in both 2016 and 2014, and PSA Travel Award in 2016, Dr. Al-Ajeeli brings a diverse background to the Devenish poultry team.

Dr. Al-Ajeeli will be focused on expanding the Devenish layer and poultry business in the USA.
